INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S CRICKET COUNCIL (IWCC)


NINTH MEETING

NINTH MEETING - held in Christchurch, New Zealand - 5th February, 1982

The outgoing President, Miss N.P. Whitehorn, presented a new Minute Book containing the Council records since the Inaugural Meeting to replace the originals which had been lost in transit. All members were present, with the exception of the Caribbean W.C.F.

The following Officers from Australia were elected:

PresidentMiss A. Mitchell
Vice-PresidentMiss H. Thompson
Secretary/TreasurerMiss B. Butcher

Further discussion ensued regarding Sponsorship, which was now an integral part of the financing of women's cricket at all levels. Future tours were tabled and Australia offered to host the next World Cup during their Bicentennial Celebrations in 1988. Investigation into a World Cup Flag and Logo was to be undertaken.

IWCC funds £135 (sterling). Fees were increased to Full £15 Associate £7 (sterling) or equivalent Australian currency.
