INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S CRICKET COUNCIL (IWCC)


SEVENTEENTH MEETING

SEVENTEENTH MEETING held in Holland - 24th July, 2003

All member countries present (13) at the Hotel de Gouden Leeuw, Voorshoten, Holland. Report presented by Research Officer as precursor to amalgamation with ICC. Unfortunately, their representative was unable to attend. Discussions continuing for final IWCC Meeting in South Africa 2005 when the 7 members of the ICC Cricket Committee (CC-W) would be announced. A timetable for the merger and final dissolution was agreed. South Africa submitted report on plans for World Cup in 2005. Member reports were submitted.

Problem were being experienced by Pakistan in relation to their merger with the PCB, but the Board of Management considered it was a 'domestic matter'.

BOARD OF MANAGEMENT held in Sydney - 16th/17th July, 2004

Merger endorsed by ICC. Betty Timmer confirmed as Chairman of CC-W and details of workload would be submitted to ICC. Plans for 2005 World Cup in hand.
